"Stop running this script"-IE
Windows V7 sp1-IE Exporer V8 I can have my system nearly compute saturated and without touching IE receive a barrage of messages asking if I want to stop running this script about once every 10 seconds. Script? What script? Is there anyway of turning this 'feature' off? To my knowledge the error has nothing to do with: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-us/mdt/thread/305D18B2-FA5D-4FC2-A1A3-1E34B9C4EFD0 Renee"MODERN PROGRAMMING is deficient in elementary ways BECAUSE of problems INTRODUCED by MODERN PROGRAMMING." Hi, Before going further, I would like to verify whether the issue occurs in a specific page or every page. To address this issue, please try the following suggestions. 1. Run this hotfix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/175500 2. Internet Option -> Advanced tab -> check "Disable Script Debugging", uncheck "Display a notification about every script error" 3. Test a web page from another user account, and another computer. Best Regards, NikiPlease remember to click "Mark as Answer" on the post that helps you, and to click "Unmark as Answer" if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

It's back. I've learned that I may go for days without seeing it OR it maybe present for several days. It is time of day independaent. When it's there I cannot read any thread for 30 to 40 seconds. Other people have reported this also so we know a couple of things. According to everything I've read it is due to a Microsoft application bug. When are they going to fix it.
